Deep ruby/purple color, with concentrated cassis and currant flavors, medium to full body, and well-integrated tannin and acidity.

Rich and powerful fruit of very old indigenous Garnacha bush vines coupled with the structure of black muscular Carinena and deeply concentrated Cabernet Sauvignon, makes this an amazingly full bodied and unique wine. On poor mineral stony terroir high up in the mountains, the vines give low yields but immense concentration. Aging for one year in new French oak barrels adds some spicy, toasty flavors to its full bodied and dark fruit character.
